Steven Tublin, Ph.D.
Steven Tublin is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst who has practiced in New York since 1993. He is on the faculty of the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, and Psychology as well as the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. In recent years his work has increasingly focused on the resolution of interpersonal issues arising in the workplace. He has coached executives in the media, banking, securities, and software industries, employing a model that views workplace productivity and satisfaction within the context of the relationships, ambitions, and values that constitute a full life. His coaching work draws on an understanding of organizational process as well as psychological insights drawn from his years in clinical practice.
Steven earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, his doctorate from Stanford University, and did postdoctoral work at New York University. He is the author of a number of scholarly articles, most recently on the topics of psychoanalytic technique and implicit values in the practice of psychotherapy.
